Planning your pause
You do not need every answer before starting a conversation. Ask your student affairs office or program director about the leave process, key dates, required documentation, and a point of contact while you are away.

Your school counseling service, treating clinician, or employee assistance program can help you explore support that fits your situation. Ask about access during leave and the limits of confidentiality.
